Summer Recap
This has been a busy summer for the Nobles County DFL unit. Unprecedented times call for unprecedented involvement from every one of us. Looking at our news feeds, it is easy to get caught up in the negativity of our current political and economic environment.

This quote from Mr. Rodgers has always been one of my favorites. There have been so many helpers this year. From the countless people that have shown up to protests, to the everyday people that have helped organize our fundraisers.

Our SD21 fundraiser was the first chance many of us got to see our candidates for our congressional districts. For Nobles County this is CD1 and our candidate is Jake Johnson https://www.jakejohnsonforcongress.com/
Nobles County also held its own fundraiser, and we were proud to host our MN DFL chairman, Richard Carlbom. His talks about where we are and how we are fighting back really bring in a breath of fresh air. It is exciting to see the DFL party at large putting more time and effort into rural communities, and we wholeheartedly thank Richard for coming down.

We also went through the King Turkey Day parade. It was a strong showing with many thumbs ups and nods of approval.

With a busy summer behind us, we still have a long way to go! Many of us will be going to the No Kings protests this Saturday, October 18th. The Protest in Sioux Falls will be on Phillips Avenue from 4-6PM https://www.mobilize.us/nokings/event/839408/
And as always, we welcome anyone who would like to attend our monthly meetings, held on the Third Thursday of each month. For October, that means the 16th. For more information, you can get in contact with us on our Facebook Page

Always remember, look for the helpers! And Thank You for Everything You Do!
